Does anyone use straws for drinking or is using straws a no no for life?

I didn't use them for the first six weeks because of the extra gas pressure, but afterward I started to use them again.

I have yet to have an issue with using them.

However, if your Dr. told you not to use them, then you really should follow your Dr.'s advice. This is the internet and self medicating yourself by what is said here is probably not a good idea. Talk it over with your Medical professional before taking any risks.
