Banded 2 days ago

Greetings all.

Home from hospital yesterday, never so happy to pass gas in my life, even wife didn't mind when she saw the level of pain I was having. (scared the dog).

Anybody who says this is the "easy way out" will receive a prompt ass-kicking, as soon as I feel up to it.

You can read about, talk to people, listen to Doctors, but until you do it yourself, nobody knows anything.

Clears until Tuesday, see doc next friday.

How long did it take your incisions to heal?

Jabba, I'm right there with ya' I was done on the 18th. While it hasnt been a walk in the park I would have tgo say that it has gone pretty smooth for me. I think the shoulder pain was the worst, but even that got better by day 2. My girlfriend makes fun of me because I never really understood what bloating was. I used to tease her about it during her TOM, now I know bloatging and I dont like it all. Sorry ladies, i will never make fun again.

Guys Gas X helps with the shoulder pain.My incisions were well in a couple weeks .Stitches came out in a week.

I was banded on 2/19 also ( I think that was your day?) It is my birthday present to myself. My birthday is tomorrow. I will be on a modified liquid diet for two more weeks and to be honest, I am starving! I go back to work tomorrow so I just hope that will keep my mind off food.
