First Fill

What is the typical amount (number of cc's) injected on someone's first fill? I was just wondering. I was banded on Jan. 19, 2009 and have the APS 10cc band with nothing in it so far. Also, does anyone feel some restriction after their first fill?

I can't recall the amount I got the first time, but I did feel the restriction. That's how it works, though...right? You'll be fine. Enjoy the weightloss journey! It's worth every thing!

I think mine was 6.8 cc's which was a very agressive fill. It was under fluoro so they filled it until the liquid wasn't flowing and then backed out a little fluid until there was a slow trickle. This helped me to get to a long term sweet spot by the second fill.

I was banded on February 6th. I did not feel restricted. I got my 1st fill today, February 19th and got 2 CCs. I have the realize band. I can tell the difference today.

I had my first fill this week and it was 4cc in a 14cc band. I will definitely need a larger fill because I can only tell there is slight restriction. Hope that helps!
