constant pbing today, what's wrong?

I had my surgery in December of 07. I've had 3 fills, the last one in mid December of 2008. For some reason, today I can't keep anything down, even water. I pb almost immediately and then I feel fine until I try to eat or drink something again. I'm kind of scared, this has never happened before. Any ideas what might be causing it?

You need to have your band checked by a professional experienced with lapbands. Hopefully first thing in the morning....don't let yourself get overly deydrated waiting. If I had to I would get an IV to get fluids back in me from an emergency room and that way you can see someone tomorrow. It may be as simple as something has caused you to get tight...

Are you under a lot of stress recently?

Illness?

They will probably want to do a fluoro to see that everything is ok, and obviously your going to need some kind of unfill, how much depends on what they see.

It may be simple, it may be a slipped band....no one really knows without looking.

I personally wouldn't let someone who doesn't know lapbands look at it. I think they tend to make mistakes, and may think they need to remove it, when it really isn't a problem.
