Hi,

Was over filled thurs. Got in Fri. morn. for a unfill. I drank water at the dr. office. Had some warm coffie a few hrs later, then a sip of milk and I was too tight again. Doc. office closed by now and I am slimming again. I stopped trying to drink and layed down for a nap, since I go no sleep the night before. Tried room temp. water and I slimmed. Called the doc, told him I couldn't even drink water again and he emailed me to stay on liquids, I was still swollen. I can't get liquids in!

Sat. I got one 8 oz. power aide sports drink in (the whole day it took me)Now it's sun morning and I have such a cold, throat sore and guess what..can't swallow anything again.

This isn't fun.

I read some of you had a few days of swelling after a unfill. How long before you can drink? I know with this cold it will slow healing down but someone tell me there is a light coming soon.

I had a fill on Thursday as well. Too much I think. I was fine at the doctor's office. But this weekend has been a nightmere. HEARTBURN like no other. I can drink- but it burns my throat so much. I'm taking so many meds to get it to stop. I'll have to go in on Monday too. I too have slimmed every time I have tried to eat this weekend. Not fun. No full blown throw up though.

You are going through exactly what I was going through last week. I tried to ride it out for 10 days. But it just got worse and worse. My throat spasmed and closed up. I would get acid so bad I couldn't even sleep. I couldn't drink. It was horrible. So I went back to the dr and he said I had to have an unfill. I asked him to take out as little as possible but he said that I would have to heal from this overfill. So he took out half of my fill. I was at 6.5 cc's and now I'm at 3 cc's. The first few days I barely noticed anything. But after the third day I finally could get liquids down again without a problem. All the throat and acid problems are gone. It was such sweet relief I didn't even care about the unfill. But now I am getting really hungry again so I have to make a post about that to see if anyone has any suggestions until I can get refilled in 3 more weeks. Good luck. You just have to get more of an unfill I guess. Let us know. Pam

Yeah, I went in Monday and they took out .5cc. They said I could come back next week and have .25cc put back in.
