So I have made it to the half-way mark. YEA!!!!!!!!:cursing: I really never thought this would be this easy. But, it is turning out to be very easy.
I have never been this confident in myself. I have never tried to put myself together on a regular basis either. Now, I'm in the mirror all of the time, consistently making sure I look OK. But this weight loss has helped me so much. I feel better, I'm not tired all the time, I haven't even gotten as sick as I normally do at this time of year.
I am almost 5 months post-op and down 60 lbs (post-op weight lost) and so proud of myself. I went to see my mom the other day, and it had been over a week since I had seen her last, and she lost it. She couldn't believe that I have done so well. She is finally starting to see the changes in me. Even at work, people that I don't even know their names, are stopping me and asking if I have lost weight. It just feels so good to be noticed.
My whole life I have felt like I lived in the shadows. No one ever noticed me, that can take a lot out of a person. But, not anymore. Those feelings a starting to dissipate.... YEA to me again!!!!!
My husband has always told me I was beautiful, but I have never felt it before. Well, that is all changing. I know now that my outside will reflect my inside.
