Help....do I need a lapband?

Hi All,

I need advice. I am 41, 5 ft 4 and 195lbs. I have been trying to lose my weight for the past 3 years without any real progress. Previously I have been a yo-yo dieter going up and down 50lbs over the years. Would a lapband help me, or should I be trying to achieve the weight loss I need thru diet and exercise alone? I feel I need the extra support of a lapband as i obviously don't have the willpower to manage my weight alone. What do you guys think?

I appreciate your thoughts.

best,

Dietkitten

Only you can make that decision. Do as much research as you possibly can. Understand how the Lap Band works and that it takes work on your part to make it a success. Know the risks. If you have specific questions along the way come here. I would suggest that you start by finding a seminar in your area, that is a great first step.
