Full or Hungry?

Does anyone else experience the feeling of fullness yet your stomach is still growling?

I'm still having a really hard time trying to figure out when I'm really full. Last night after drinking 1/2 cup of Tomato Soup on Hand I felt really full - like I had over ate and it was hard to breathe.

Tonight, I had just a small yogurt and felt the same way but my stomach was growling like crazy.

It's now 3 hours later and I still feel really full but my stomach is still growling. Am I really hungry? Should I eat or ignore the growling?

that's similar to what's been happening to me. for a long time i just ignored the feeling of hunger, but i realized that with just a bit of protein the hunger subsides. i think since we're still healing, eating anything substantial beyond clear liquids is going to make us feel really full. i had half a cup of tomato soup yesterday too and had the same experience. i just had to sit there for about half an hour while it digested.

I have had plenty of times at home and at work where my stomach was growling like a beast but I had no hunger feelings what so ever. I simply ignored it and even a couple of times joked about it with my buddy at work.

Fact is our bodies, including out stomach, is learning how to behave differently since we are now eating less food and have this band around our stomach. What you really have to learn is are you actually hungry or not. Don't listen to the sounds. Listen to how you feel. Do you have hunger pains? Also be careful to know when you are hungry and not just think your hungry. Best of luck to all of us with learning how our bodies have changed and are reacting.

hahaha I hear the same sounds. My problem is that for the most part I'm never hungry so it's been really hard to get enough protein.
