So Bored!!

I leave for Tijuana (sp) on Monday, August 1st. Right now I'm trying to go two days on liquids. I've lasted about 3 hours, and all I wanna do is eat. This sucks. Anyone wanna talk?

Hi there, Well only less than a week for you to go. The days will pass in no time but in the mean time go for walks get out and about instead of staying in because thats when I find I want to snack.. Keep your self busy and distracted..

Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.. Post when you can

I'm on day one of liquids and starving. I have 2 weeks of this until surgery. I know how you feel.

((((HUGS))))

COme on now- you can do it! You really truely can do it!! You need to definetly change your everyday routine & pronto. Thats what s hard. Start a scapebook project or yardwork or walk or reorganize something. Go through some junk & prepare for a garage sale. Find something to get yourself preoccupied without thinking of food.

My two full weeks of liquids was soooo stinking hard but I just keep thinking that I was shrinking my liver & it would help the surgeon to do a better procedure on me. Guess what it did! He said I had no fat around my liver & that the extra 7 pds I lost during those two weeks really helped. Be determined more today than yesterday & more focused tomorrow. Yes- I messed up two days during my liquid phase but I got right back on that horse & tamed it! You can do the same! Just think of all the extra weight you'll lose!

One other great think to pass time is paint - not arty paint but paint a room a whole new color!! Its a hard project & a time consumiong one- I hate painting rooms but once you start you have no choice but to finish it;0) Can't wait to hear of your success- You'll do just awesome-really!!!

Yup, room painting is a great time consumer! Of course, I love to paint rooms, love everything except the prep part. Oh, just a hint, TSP will eat your acrylic nails, so use gloves.

pack for your trip, then unpack and remove half the things you think will need. (I always overpack for everything...)

Pick up a new hobbie.

Sort your clothes by size, if you haven't done that already. You will soon be able to let your "fat" clothes go. You will soon need to find your "skinny" clothes you haven't worn in years.

This one I consider very important. Write yourself a very long letter. Examine why you are doing this, examine what head issues you have. Write what you are going through right now, what your day is like, huffing and puffing, difficulty doing things. Stuff like needing seatbelt extenders when you fly. Write all these things down so that you will know how far you have come on your journey. Give yourself sign posts, mile markers.

Take a before picture!!!
