You know I have ready on here of people going back 3 days post op. Well not me. I was out of work for 7 full days and then part the rest of the week. I was very tired but was able to manage ok. I know 3 - 4 days would have been to much for me.

Good luck....

I was banded on a thursday, and went back to work the 2nd Tuesday after that. I have a really bend, pull push, squat sort of job - so there is no way I could have gone back earlier. If I had gone to a desk job - it might have worked.

I was out a week. But I could have gone back sooner. I was banded on a Friday and the school where I work was closed that following week. I felt better by that Tuesday and went out shopping. I guess It all depends on what kind of job you have. and how you feel. Everyone is different on their recovery!! :)

Good luck and happy healing!

I guess it depends on the person. I was banded on a Thurs., got really sick and was in the ER on Tues., and went back to work at a nursing home (w/ some heavy lifting) on Saturday and I was fine.

I was banded this past Wednesday and will be back to work on Monday. I am still somewhat tired but for me it is just mind over matter....and the fact that I am somewhat stubborn. I do have a desk job and that may help some.
