Way to go girl keep up the good work and I am sure that it is work. I really don't know anything about this procedure but I am sure it takes baby steps to get through it. Therefore take it one step at a time.

Hey Dee Jay,

I am doing good. I had my surgery at Park Plaza and was forced to stay all night because my surgery wasn't done until 5 pm. With them doing both the band and removing my gallbladder they encouraged me to stay the night. I came home on Thursday, took it easy on Friday, and went shopping on Saturday. Today at church I was somewhat tired and made a point to come home and have a nap, but am headed back to work tomorrow. The gas was not near as bad as I was expecting and neither was the pain. As a matter of fact I haven't used my pain medecine. My husband says that it is just because I am stubborn though.

A friend of mine whom I work with also had her surgery the same day. She was at the medical center. She was self pay, I was insurance (bless God!). We planned to have it together so we could support each other through it. I think she may be having a harder time than I am, feeling a little more pain. At least she is off this next week and will have time to recoup.

Are you guys still swollen...I am...its not red or irritated...I am on mushies....trying to get in the protein...it could be gas....how are you all doing....
