Calendar/ info

So, I thought maybe I'd make a calendar for who is having surgery when. If everyone would, post surgical date, and any extra info you would like to share, and I'll try to keep posting the updates.

I'm glad no one has responded to this, because the next morning, I fell at work and broke my leg. It's a big nasty, 1 in a million multiple fracture, and I'm goint to have to have it surgically fixed. Not sure if I can still have my lap band next week:mad:, but I can't lift my leg at all, and have little muscle control. I'll try to keep you all updated, but wanted you to know. If anyone's the praying type, I could use them. There is some debate as to if I'll get feeling back.

Wow thats horrible. I am sorry to hear what happend to you. Good luck and hopefully you can bounce right back. Hopefully for you the leg surgery will be done so you can move foward with the Lap band.

Keep us posted.

Oh Wow! So sorry to hear about this happening! I hope you have a very quick recovery and will be able to get your lapband on schedule! Keep us up to date!

2b-banded, will be a prayin for you...you have worked so hard for this! Please keep us updated on your surgeries...

Say Pete, is it possible to post some kind of calendar? Been writing them down (from Do you have a Dec Date Thread).

Would be cool to have name/state perhaps?

Thanks for the siggies, gonna go get mine!

Hope pre-ops and a walkin are going well!

This would be really cool to have a calender with everyones dates on it. I wonder if there is an online application that could allow us the use of something like this.

Don't thank me. Thank LapBandTalk.com for the calendar. This is a great place for us all to share our experience together! Now let's see if we can fill that calendar up with everyones dates!!!

I am so sorry to hear that you are having other issues to deal with. I hope your leg heals back to normal. Keep us updated on your LB Surgery.

Well, I'm having knee repair surgery tomorrow, so it looks like my lapband won't happen until Jan or Feb. :cursing: oh, well. At least the orthopoedist thinks it will be a pretty simple repair, and all done in one surgery, as opposed to several.

That really sucks that you had this happen to you. But I am glad to hear that the docs are on top of this and that your getting this taken care of quickly. Even though your band date is changing we're still here to cheer you on!!!

Hi Tamra, so sorry this has happened, will be prayin for your leg surgery, and then STILL the band! Please know our thoughts are with you, and we will be looking for your leg surgery report and the band! You are still one of us Holiday Hotties...cause there are Holidays in Jan & Feb!

Go 2b-banded...and don't change that name!!!:cursing:

Well, it ends up I'm going to have to have 2 knee surgeries after all. He said he got in there and my meniscus was totally shredded, which did not show up on MRI. He fixed that, repaired and reattached my ACL, and cleaned out the bone fragments, but I have to go back next Thursday for the rest. Oh, well. He said a lot of MD would have just removed the meniscus, but as young as I am, that would have caused problems down the road. He said "I'd rather do it in two pieces, and do it well, than rush it in one, and have poorer results." Hard to argue with that! so I'll be getting 2 surgeries in December, and neither one is the band! Ugh! Well, I waited this long, whats a few more months. And I've felt so crappy, I've lost a few pounds, so that's one possitive.
