Acidic throat?

I've read through and couldn't find anything similar to this - so I apologize if this has been covered already, but I couldn't find it.

About a month ago I got stuck on a multi-vitamin. Everything got a bit inflamed so I got a little unfill. Since then I've felt an acidic feeling in my throat - all the way from my stomach up to my mouth. It's not like liquid acid, just a burning sensation. There's no liquid coming up or anything. I've read that liquid coming up could be due to a slip. So this is not like that. Quite a few nights I have to sleep elevated or else that acidic feeling won't go away. And it's not all the time either. Some days I'm fine. It was a lot worse closer to the days I was stuck. Now it's mostly at night when I feel it.

I will go to the doc and see what's up, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or if it sounds suspiciously like something you've heard of.

Thanks!

Hi Lindata,

I've had similar symptoms, just as you are describing - that acid feeling, some days it's not there, but mostly bad at night. I saw my doctor, and it turns out that my band was too tight - I had an unfill, and I haven't had any problems since.

Good luck, and I hope you are feeling better after your doctor visit.
