I’m 7 mons after surgery and lost some weight, however, it did not come easy to me… I do not remember having one meal without vomiting right after. I had an esophgram done at a location close to my work which came ok, however, when I vomited even when my band was at 0cc, my doctor had me take the esophgram at his place (hospital) which detected a slippage.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

So, I have a surgery scheduled within two weeks. So here is my question: is this like a regular lapband surgery with five incisions, with the pain, gas, and all the other “good stuff”? if I chose to hold off on the surgery, how long can I live with a slippage before fixing it? How long do I need to be on liquid (before and after)?

And, most important, what are the lesson learned that someone can tell me so this will not happen again?

I appreciate any input, hope you cannot tell how desperate I am
