wondering about "slim"

This sounds so gross, but if I have eaten too fast or not chewed by food well enough I feel the need to vomit. Each time I do I can pin point the mistake I have made...either eating to fast or not chewing well.

My concern is that when I do vomit there is alot of "slimmy" stuff that comes up as well. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know what it is from?

I meant to talk to the Dr. about it at my last appointment but I forgot this time.

That slime is just your body's natural secretion to help you get your food down your pipe. It's not harmful. In fact, it means that your body is doing what it is supposed to. But of course, our goal is to eat small enough bites to not have this happen.

Oh yes, and here at LBT it's actually known as "sliming"! We've all done it, I think. But you say you can pinpoint the problem, so you ARE learning!
