About how long did it take for your incisions to heal? My doctor says I can swim once they are healed....he said about one to two weeks.

My doc told me I could swim after 10 days. I have been swimming many times sinmce the 10 days and my incisions look great!

I went swimming at the 3 week mark and have had no trouble.

10-14 days the steri strips should fall off or the incisions healed over. Do not go as long as you have ANY openings whatsoever in the incision itself.
