Joining the banded!!!!!!!

I am being banded at 7:30 tomorrow morning.:cool2::biggrin:

I am sooooo super excited at this moment I am not nervous. The only thing i am nervous about is if something comes up tomorrow and I will not be able to go through surgery I don't know what could come up but with all the hoops and emotional roller coasters this last 5 months who knows. I can't wait till I am there and being rolled back to the O.R.

I will be staying a night in the Hospital so will update on Tuesday depending on how I am feeling.

Question: My daughter has a function at school Wednesday morning.........Do you think I will feel up to going??? I am not doing anything other than sitting it is a veterans day program.

Everyone reacts differently to surgery. I went to work the day after I got out of the hospital. Not really to work, but to get up and do something. I'd go if for nothing else to get yourself out of the house. Will you have to drive yourself? If so make sure you are not groggy. I did not have to drive for several days after surgery, but getting up will make you feel better, help you get rid of the gas. Good luck.....:cool2:

I wouldn't have wanted to have to dress up to go out to a function, but then I hate fixing my hair etc. LOL If you don't mind that kind of thing, then yes, as my friend Emilie says, getting out for a bit will be good for you!
