Scar issues LONG after surgery

I'm a year out and I still have issues with my port scar. It just seems to get irritated easily. It itches or it stings, etc. It's not infected. There's no redness or swelling. It's just the FEELING of the scar. Anybody else experience this? Maybe as my tummy gets smaller, the scar will feel better??? I have no idea - looking for some insight.

There may be sutures under the skin that are irritating it from the inside??? Mine doesn't itch or get irritated, but occasionally it will get a little pink around the edges. I have one scar from my recent gallbladder surgery in August, that has bubbled up. No pain, but it now looks more like a mosquito bite than a scar. So wierd. Have you tried using cocoa butter or vitamin E oil on it to soothe it?

I still have that from my c-section scar and my twins are almost 5

My port incision is fine though, where is it located? Somewhere your clothes rub on it?

It's about an inch and a half down from my left ribs and 2 inches from my belly button.
