I am soooo happy. I called today to check the status and they approved it!! I am so ready. I cant wait until MOnday so I can call the dr. and schedule a surgery date!!! I can't belive this...I have UHC and I was wondering what they were going to do. I am soo happy!:)

Congrats!!! My doctor called today and they are just waiting to get the dietitans notes for my up coming appt Nov. 3rd. As soon as they get it, they will submit to insurance. Now I have 4 pays days to come up with $800.00 for my out of pocket.

I also found out today that I am approved. I hope to get my surgery date on Monday. I am so excited but yet so nervous. I can't believe that I am actually going to finally get the lapband. Yea!!!!

Same to you! I am in Wichita Falls, TX which is about 2 hours west of Dallas. Where are you located? Are you thinking that your date will be at the beginning of November?

I found out today, 10/24, I am APPROVED !!!! Paper work has to hit the Dr. office before they will actually schedule, but I'm hoping for Nov. 20 or Dec. 11. Sooner the better I say. I'm worried I will really miss the food, especially for those two weeks pre opt. I go for my Nutrition 4 hour class on Monday night. At least I'll know more after that. Right now, I seem to want to eat everything I think I won't have later. Not a good pre opt plan.
