Irregular Menstruals

I was just wondering if anybody is having irregular menstruals? Ever since I got my lapband, some months I can have it for almost 10 to 15 days. I skipped last month, and now this month its so heavy... I'm afraid to even go out. I asked my doctor and he says, Its cus my body is losing weight/changing... also when you undergo surgery, your hormones are out of whack! I'm in my 30's but feel like I'm a teenager with heavily flows??

Can somebody relate to this?

I think this is normal sorta, har!! I had surgery in January and I haven't had the visit since Feburary.. But I'm chaulking it up to hormones, menopause plus the weight loss...

I had the exact same problem. The doctor told me that fat contains a lot of estrogen, so when you lose fat, you are realeasing it. So you are essentially getting doses of estrogen shot in your system. Hope that helps.
