question for the ladies

very personal question but does anyone have a problem eating around period time? it seems like a few days before my period and during my period I cant eat a damn thing. Like my band gets tighter. If I do eat I throw up. I had my band checked and nothing is wrong with it. Only happens the one time of month when I get my period I throw up for like 4 days. Just wanted to know if anyone is expericing this or what may cause it?

Yeah, a lot of women experience this. You might be interested in the following thread:

It hasn't always bothered me, just the within the last month. There are lots of theories, but me personally, I think it's Water retention and swelling. I felt like if someone poked me I would actually pop last month. I had to finally self impose liquids only and some very thin mushies.

Here is another thread regarding inconsistent tightness:

You are certainly not alone. Are you able to drink during that time or is nothing staying down? You need to talk to your doc if that is the case. Good luck!

I can totally drink and do most mushies. I did go in and have an xray done to make sure it wasn't my band. My doctor Said if it happens again just stick to drinking and mushies.

I agree with Bea. I have only experienced it in the last month and I was so bloated and had to be retaining about 8 pouonds of water no joke.
