Sick and coughing

Okay so Friday I started feeling sick...I went to the Urgent care on Sunday and they told me that I have a sinus infection and a bronchial infection. I've been coughing a lot and pretty hard. Is that going to hurt my band or make things swell....? I can drink water and swallow things, but everything I eat makes me feel like I'm going to vomit...I don't though...I was supposed to have a fill on Monday, but didn't go because I'm sick...Any suggestions or things that I should be concerned with?

I got the stomach virus within a week of getting banded. I dry heaved for an hour straight and my band did not slip. If I cough hard I do splint my abdomen by placing my hand firmly over my band. Don't know if it actually helps or not.

I too am sick with a nasty cold with lots of coughing and conjestion. I have been coughing nightly for about 4 days. Last night I woke myself up coughing and thought to myself I am going to cough up my band. I to would like to know if coughing can cause any damage. I've never heard anything about damage by coughing. What I do find hard it taking the cold pills. They are so huge and when you cut them up they are so gross to swallow. Well I hope we feel better soon it sucks to be sick and not be able to make myself feel better with the cold and sore throat cure all ICE CREAM:wink_smile: ha ha!
