hot face

After I eat or even when I am eating--my face turns bright red and gets really hot--it lasts for about 30 minutes--I also get dizzy---

what is wrong with me?--it doesn't happen every time but it happens enough to make me feel awful. and other people notice it and are a bit shocked by it---

any help would be great!

I have never heard what you are experiencing - I think you should contact your doctor. You just never know - they will know exactly what questions to ask you to get to the bottom of your problem.

You didn't give much information, but if you have had a fill or fills, you may be too tight. This does not sound like a typical reaction to being too full, but I had a TMJ like pain with mine. I didn't have typical PB. I could eat anything and didn't know I had too much fill until reflux became a major problem.

Good luck.

A few years back my Mom was having a reaction like that and it turned out she had Diabetis. She did not have a lap band or anything but she said she felt bad all over and her face was really red and she felt dizzy as well. When I checked her blood with a kit at home it wouldn't even read it her blood suger was so high it was over 500. Any way I don't want to scare you but maybe since you have had the surgery your blood suger can't level it self out. I'm not a Dr. or anything but I would call today if I were you. Best of luck to you.

crazyace... It could be a hormonal thing.. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and ever since my face gets really red and hot at random .. I have had lab work and a bunch of fun stuff ha ha to make sure it was nothing else, but everything comes back fine.. So just have your doctor look into it.. Best of luck
