I just joined LBT, and live in Henderson, NV. My surgery date is scheduled for 10/22/08 with Dr. Atkinson. So I don't think I'll make the October 25th shindig, but I look forward to meeting you all soon.

I too am from Henderson. I was banded on May 19th with Dr Atkinson. It was the best decision of my life to have this done. So far 67 lbs are gone forever!!! Good luck to both of you!!!

Soong and Atkinson are fabulous, I would (and have) recommended them to anyone I meet who is interested. Their entire process, including follow up, is caring, on point, and very hands on. Your success is their success, and it shows in how they care for you.

I am down 85 lbs since May, and they are a big part of that.
