I'm new too!

Hi all!

I haven't read many posts from this group yet. But I have to say how excited I am to be able to find others in my age range who have had this surgery! When I started looking into surgery it was disappointing not having any resources for info from anyone that wasnt 15-20 years older than I am. Not that it didn't help, but I look forward to meeting people who are at the same stages of life as I am. I am hopeful that after I start to loose some of my excess weight I will feel confident enough to get start dating :tt1:. Right now, the thought of it scares me.

Congrats on your new life. Keep walking it seems to come off faster. Best wishes!

I will keep that in mind. Thank you!

Hey Jennie,

I know what you mean about the age thing. I don't know why it is, but it seems a lot of people our age aren't really on these kinds of websites. I don't know why, I think it is better to have these types of things done early on in life so you can enjoy the prime! If you know what I mean. :) Anyway, good luck with your journey and welcome to the young board. :tt2:

I met a gal at work who had this surgery not long before I decided on it. She put it the best. She said "You are being pro-active with your life instead of re-active"

Hi Jennie, how is the loss going?
