I have Great West Insurance and had my lap band surgery October 2007. I was surprised that it was as easy as it was. I called the company first and had them fax me a list of requirements to be approved. Then I turned that list over to my family doctor and a copy to my weight loss surgeon. Most of the requirements were the same as other companies. Great West paid 80% of everything. If you have any more questions about them I'll try to answer them.
