i have really bad gas since the surgery. My husband is like what happened to my wife. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?:teeth_smile:

How long ago were you banded? I had a lot of gas after my surgery too and that went on for about a month or so. Now my system is adjusted and I don't have the gas problem anymore. I was worried at the beginning like you are because I never had a problem like that but you'll see, it will go away. Good luck to you!

I was petrified that I'd be a "burp monster" and I just find burping too too rude. BUT It is getting better day by day. So I have to agree; it improves. Hang in there! :teeth_smile:

Yup, my gas lasted about five or six weeks... I was so afraid it would never go away. But, it did... I am sure it will for you too!

It was a month on the 18th of sept. Good to know thgs will come to an end.
