I got a new doctor and now a new surgery date, my insurance just approved me again but with this new doctor, I believe I will be much happier and will be more satisfied with his work, He will be doing my surgery with only one hole and using my belly button to go through so he wont have to make all those holes everyone else has had to have, things are changing and that means less scarring as well as healing so that is great.

Anyone having surgery around this time , lets be buddies.

I have made alot of good email buddies from here and it has been a great experience one which I wouldnt change. There is so much info we can take from here so who ever created this web site "thanks"

Congrats Becky. I have heard about the one incision surgery but my doc doesn't do it. I am just praying I don't get converted to open. That is literally the one and only thing I am nervous about!

I assume your preop starts today - good luck with that. It has it's bad moments, but if you try to keep occupied it helps a ton!

no I am actually not having to do a pre op diet cuz my bmi is low and will not have to do a day before liquids either so this is nice. I wish u well on ur procedure , when are u scheduled??

Yes i am excited about my doc doing the one incision and I am like u I pray that he doesnt have to do the open one either that is scary
