I am newly banded tomorrow is a week! I am looking for a Lap Band buddy male or female my age I am 22. I think the buddy is great to help each other through this journey. Preferably someone who is also newly banded.

Hey!! I am a college girl too! I am only 20 though. I just got banded July 11. I know I could not be a mentor, but maybe just a buddy? I dont know if you want to get too detailed, but maybe we could e-mail or facebook or soomething if you are interested. although facebook kind of worries me, because only a couple of my close friends know.

I would not say I am struggling yet, but I am frustrated. I knew it was not going to be magic, but I thought my weight loss would be more progressive. If you need anyone to talk to or ask questions though, I am just a couple months ahead of you. I need a buddy now too!! haha
