Under Eye Fat Pockets

After losing weight does the fat under your eyes go away or is it that once you have them the only way to get rid of them is to have plastic surgery?

My dad was looking into plastic surgery for that. It is about 2,500 and the doctor did tell him once you get it the only way to get rid of it is surgery.

I have talked to a nurse anesthestist that used to work with a plastic surgeon. He said the only effective way to get rid of lower eye fat pads is plastic surgery. He said it takes about 30 mins. and costs about $2500. He said the doc makes a small incision inside the lower eyelid and pulls out the fat.

Surgery! I'm having it. Lots of it when I lose enough!

sometimes....under eye puffiness is from other medical conditions. Not necessarily "fat". This can include things like allergies, liver disease, etc.
