Has anyone done an infrared body wrap post lap band? I have done two, but started thinking about one of the questions asked on the sign up sheet. It asked if you had silicone implants. I do not, but I was wondering if this procedure could possibly damage the band. The salon that I did this at did not know. Can anyone answer this question?

I think this is for, say silicone chin, calves, breast implants. They are under the surface of the skin, I don't know what this body wrap is but body wraps in general do things to the skin.. perhaps the heat or whatever it does, if it were right over a silicone breast implant for example, might burst the implant.

The band silicone is so far inside, and it's not a bubble like these implants are.. I would think it's fine, but when in doubt, call your band doc

I have never even heard of infrared body wrap. Sounds cool! I am now going to look it up . . .

I'm having a regular ole body wrap on Friday because my skin is so loose around my belly. hmph.
