Pneumonia

I was banded June 9. I was having a lot of pain.I was sent to the hospital for tests and it has been discovered that I have pneumonia. I am on leviquin and was told to walk and try to cough. This is so disheartening.

I am so sorry! I hope that you get feeling better soon!

Were you sick before you got banded? Like with a cold or anything or is this just sudden?

I'm so sorry to hear this. Make sure you get plenty of rest, drink a lot of water, take all of your meds, and walk as much as you can. Take care. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the kind wishes. My pneumonia is better. I am on 7 days of Leviquin. I have been moving around a lot and am having productive coughs. On the good side..according to My scales..i have lost a pound a day since i got out of the hospital.

Good for you Terri. I am glad that you are starting to feel better. Keep up the walking. Congrats on the downward movement of your scale. :)
