7 Months already

It's my 7 month bandiversary today! I saw my Bariatric Nurse and Surgeon for a check up this morning. They are extremely happy with my weightloss so far. They asked how much more I was hoping to lose, I said another 40lbs to which they said no, that's too much. They said I was to get to a weight I was happy with and could maintain. I asked about PS too. Again, I could have a TT now but if I am still losing weight there wouldn't be any point. I think possibly another 20lbs or so and we'll look into scheduling a TT.

WOW - 7 months, and the time really has gone quickly, hasn't it?

Congratulations on your weight loss to date, and keep us posted on the TT plans. I am thinking of it (longingly), but that's a way off - both for the weight I have to lose, and the money to afford it.

One goal at a time...

I still have 23 more days to go before it's my 7 month anniversary (the sucky part about getting banded at the end of February), but I hope I can lose at least 4 more pounds by that time. I doubt I will since the way my body works is weird.. I won't lose anything for a few weeks then I drop 4 lbs.. or I go up and down the same two pounds and then drop a few out of no where. I guess it all evens out eventually though.

I'll probably need a TT, but I"m planning to try and get prego sometime next year and don't want to get the TT until after I have a baby... Man, I can't wait until my doctor tells me 40 more lbs is too much. HA HA HA! that day won't happen for quite a while, but I can dream.

Congrats Sadie! Must feel amazing to have someone tell you that would be too much to lose. You've done a great job losing it. You'll have to keep us up to date on the TT too. I know many of us are very curious about it and how to get insurance to cover it. I know I'm planning to run to a doctor with every little rash.
