Hi Guys,

Has anyone gained weight between having surgery and getting your first fill? I have (about 7 lbs). I'm so glad I'm getting a fill tomarrow, maybe at least I'll feel I'm on my way to losing some weight!

Patty, you are not alone, many people do, you are normal. Remember the band works best when it is filled. I have been working with no fill for 2 months now, luckily for me I have not gained any weight back ,actually have manged to lose 5 lbs in 2 months but I have worked extra hard not to gain wieght. It has been a struggle somedays. I am going in for a fill not to thelevel I was before I was unfilled but a fill none the less.

Can you believe I actually gained weight after my first fill! In the 4 weeks between my first and second fill I gained a couple of kg's. Needless to say, I didn't feel much of a restriction at all after the first fill. Thankfully I can say that was the only time I put on weight and I have been banded now since Feb 04.
