Seeking Advice

Hello, I had my lap band surgery over 3 years ago and still don't have it under control. I am limited to soup and yogurt for my meals. Anything else makes me vomit and constantly belch, nice huh? I find myself having to sleep sitting up b/c of reflux. I am not losing any more weight and considering my difficulties I would expect to have lost a lot more than I have. My husband is fed up with these issues and I don't know what to do. I'm afraid to get my fill taken out in fear of gaining the weight back and making these last 3 years a waste. Has anyone else out there had these issues and found a solution? Seeking advice....:crying:

If you are having any reflux, please see your Dr. right away. I am 1.5 years out and started having reflux in June. I finally went to the Dr. 11 days ago and they totally unfilled me because I was so swollen. You should not have reflux if your band is working correct. You could be risking another surgery. I am now on day 11 of my liquid diet and believe me I would much rather do liquids than another surgery. Your band could have slipped or many other problems. Please make an appt. soon.

Thanks, I actually went to my doc today and he had me try to swallow some of the barium and only a drop of the very thin liquid went through...that's how blocked I was. He called the doc in right away to take my fill out. I need to go back in 4 weeks and am debating getting it filled again.
