hi, thanks for writing back. Yes, Im in Atlanta. You know, this is a little surreal. I researched for 2 years, then I found a covered Dr. under my insurance plan and made an appt on July 20th. four days later my insurance approved the band. I had surgery a week after that on the 7th of August. I had a trip scheduled to TX from the 11-15th and I went. I flew and am home and am just fine. I was working, *did 3 presentations and had several meetings) but the thing is...I am a single mom of 3 boys and the trip ended up being the BEST way to rest. My kids kept eating my jello at home :) My tummy is only sore to touch right where my pouch is and I am eating fish as of Friday. I am tired of fish. I weighed myself a few days ago and was down 22 lbs. Now its 17, which is to be expected. I am eating solids now. My first fill is Sept 10. I am a little nervous about that, but my Dr. says it doesnt hurt.
