Does anyone know how much sugar is OK...

I know that we are to stay away from sugar. Obviously there is natural sugar in fruits. That must be better then refined sugar but I would like to know what is an OK amount. 10g, 15g. What is the daily amount that you stick to or limit yourself too?

Thank you

When I was diagnosed with diabetes, I was referred to nutritionist, and she said 60g of carbs per day. She also told us to look at the carbs in a food and not the sugar because the carbs total is inclusive of sugar, and other forms of carbs. Most of my carbs come from fruit and veg. I do not eat refined sugar or carbs.
