Taking the band out

Just wondering how involved is it to take the band out just wondering if anyone has had it done just thinking if something went wrong just a thought

    Yes there are people who have had it removed due to erosion and other problems. I know its a bit more difficult than putting the band it but beyond that I'm not sure how horrible it is.
