urine catheter

When you have the lap band do they insert a catheter into your bladder no one ever mentioned it but I think they would have to what if you went you would contaminate everything.

No catheter for me or my DH. Not sure what you mean by "contaminate everything." Do you mean involuntarily urinating in the OR? They had me empty my bladder before my procedure, and from what I understand, most procedures take about 45 minutes, if your surgeon is well qualified.
