I'm 9 days out now, will you all help me make a list of things I should have in the house for post op?

I bought alot of stuff for surgery, and some of the things never were used.

Here's a list of items I never opened:

paper banddage tape

gauze

heating pad

hot cold ice pack

Items I used:

bottle water

crystal light

Campbells soup at hand

Liquid Tyenol

Chapstick

Sugar free cough drops

Sugar free mint

instant cream of wheat

1% milk

sugar free jello

Sports Bra/No wire bra

Slip in shoes

Lots of Gas X

Nectar chocolate protein powder

Books

Magazines

All of these items can be purchased at Walmart. With the exceptions of the protein powder.

vitamins

box mashed potatoes

baby food:confused:

high protein drinks/shakes

canned chicken breast

canned tuna

low fat/nofat mayo

sugar free drink mixes of all sorts a flavors:wub:

canned cream soups

chicken veggie or beef broths

no sugar added canned fruits packed in water

jar of gravy for those mashed potatoes!:teeth_smile:

instant dry milk

protein powders

refried beans (lots a protein) good w/sour cream & shredded cheese:tt1:

popsicles

jello

pudding

blender

baby spoon

measureing cup or etc.

1% milk or skim milk

Reading the post above I must say I personally do like the new whey chocolate & vanilla body fortress protein powder that is sold at Walmart. $14, you can't beat the price. I know she listed a different type she used that wasn't offered at Walmart.

I'm approved and waiting for a date. Thanks for the list.
