Hi and welcome!!! Please check the thread just below yours and you will find that we are all here supporting each other. Are you banded yet, or deciding?

Yes I have been banded for five years. Have had up and down problems. with pouch dialation, being to tight. My band slipped and was replaced last October. Did not start my refills until December, then started having back problems. That has slowed my progress down.

Jazzey, Guess that is the very reason most of us got the band - no success loosing weight before. Do you have to lose that final few pounds before you can have the surgery?

Max'sMom, This is a very active support group, but most of the action is in the "New 60+ thread". Feel free to join us there.
