It happened to me, I started one day before surgery........I called the surgeons office and they said it will not affect the surgery.

They did tell me that I wouldn't be able to wear a tampon and that they would give me something at the hospital.... they did give me a pad to wear, they also gave me a quilted waterproof pad to put under me.....I was nervous because there was nothing holding in the pad......but all went well and when I was up in my room I was able to wear a tampon.........

You'll be fine, good luck!!!!

Same thing happened to me .. i was able to keep my undies on with a pad .. i had on stretchy cotton ones so they just rolled my undies down so my stomach was not covered.. i was so happy i didn't have to take them off ... that would have been very uncomfortable. just depends on your surgeon/hospital i guess ..

:blushing:They told me to wear a pad if i come on my menstrual before surgery i mind trying to come down today.i miss a month already my surgery is aug 6 and i am going to hate this i am going to be in pain already and for right now i don't need this.:wink2:
