I am!! I am officially done with all of my appointments. I met with the surgeon, dietician, psychologist, and exercise physiologist. I feel much better and really, really positive about the whole time. I've NEVER had surgery though! I'm kinda nervous about that..but the outcome..should be amazing! yay!

Let me know if anyone has surgery this day! Or a day close by. We can be anxious/nervous/scared/excited together :wink2::)

I am having surgery on the 5th of August and I know how you feel am going nuts I can't wait. One week to go. I dream it, I think about it all the time.

I know it will be here before I know it, but it also feels like it is dragging.

I read everyones blogs and posts...it's all good to know, I just want to know more. lol I would be glad to go though this with you, then alone. lol

wow that is allot of people getting banded. I am so excited about mine I just wish it were here already.

Less then a week now and counting. Aug 5th is my date.

I am not to good with this site yet.....not sure if I am doing everything right. I have a myspace because of my friends and my daughter had to help me set it up, so I am just not good at this.

I am glad a found this website though, I was going nuts looking lapband people up. Asking anyone who knew anyone that had one. Here the security person Tracy at my work her husbands cousin had it 6 months ago and is doing great. Lost allot of weight already. He has his own website, with his begining to now.

I just can't wait.

lisafitz - I know!!! I think about it all of the time! All day. And, I'm so unbelievably busy so it kind of sucks. I spend time researching the lapband instead of doing my homework and stuff :/ I'll have tons to do at night, and I'll end up on here the whole time! ha! I'm working full time currently and taking 3 classes. And selling a lot on ebay. My life is so busy and crazy. haha But, I'm so so excited, and nervous of course. I've never had surgery!

You have allot on your plate school, work that is enough right there. I am at 5 days away now and going insane with excitement. Can't believe after all this time and all those doctor visits and test it's here. I can not wait. I am so glad I found this website, it helps to talk to everyone who is doing the samething thing.....it's ease my mind. Yours is coming up fast...it will be here before you know it. lisafitz -- how was your surgery yesterday??? I Hope it went well!!!!!!!!!! I'm excited to hear from you. Is all that crazy excitement gone hehe? i still have mine. But.. i'm on preop diet, and it blows. I've been nautious since I started it Sunday night. don't know why.

I am scheduled for the 18th too. My pre-op apt w/ dr. is 8/15 but I have completed everything else, and am approved w/ insurance. It's right around the corner, I can't believe it! WOOHOO!! :w00t:
