I am scheduled for surgery on 8-11-08. I was scheduled in July, but insurance denied me 5 days before surgery. I had already started the week of liquids (that was really hard). Did anyone else have to do 1 full week of liquids before surgery? Do you have any tricks. It was really hard the last time (I did it for 2 days) and I am looking for some help to get me through 7 days starting 8-4 through my surgery date 8-11.

beef broth is much better than chicken broth in my opinion. drink lots of ice water. also, a food processor can do amazing things
