A Couple Questions

First of all congrats to all of you on your success! You all are true inspirations!! I just have a couple questions for you near or at goal. How much is in your band? (I know it varies but I am only 4 months out and have 12.5cc in a 14cc band and just now getting restriction so I hope this one lasts for a long while) and what happens when you reach your goal-as far as do you get unfilled a little so you stop losing or are you at that fill level the rest of your life? I guess I just never thought that far ahead. Any insight would be great. Again you guys are all amazing!!!

I have a 9.75 holds 4 cc.

First fill at 6 weeks was half, 2cc

4 weeks later 2nd fill was .5cc

that's it. reached goal.

had unfill of .3 cc

a month later another unfill of .2 cc

DONE!

When you reach goal you go to maintenance. This is where you eat normal, your new normal. If you don't lose anymore weight, you are done. If you continue to lose (and don't want to) you can try to increase your calories...but don't overeat! You will want to go in for an unfill if your weight goes down and you aren't happy with it.

Once you stabilize, you should be good to go.

Remember, if you ever need a fill because you find the scales creeping up-get a fill. Your doc won't mind a bit.

I am at goal and I never had an unfill. I had my last fill in Dec. and I am good to go. I think I am looser now than I was in Dec. when I first got it, but I am not messing with a good thing. I can eat anything I want in small portions. I have no problem foods, never get stuck anymore, haven't pbed in months. Life at goal is wonderful!
