stress and restriction

Has anyone experienced having more band restriction when under a lot of stress? I haven't had a fill in 2 months but lately my band gets tighter when I experience a lot of stress. Anyone ever have this happen? It seems like when my stress level is down I have no problem. But when I have a bad day at work with lots of stress, I can't get anything to go down. Has anyone experienced this problem?

YES. I have no idea if it's pyschological or something real, but yeah! I was recently under a bunch of stress and was so tight I couldn't get anything down....well, now I'm not as stressed (last couple of weeks) and am thinking of getting a fill.

I haven't lost weight, but I can eat now. I'm worried stress will come back - but I think on those days I'll stick w/my protein shakes.

I was told at my surgeon's office that stress does tighten the band. The band is around a muscle (stomach) and when we get stressed it tightens up. So, the problem is not the band, but we need to get rid of stress!! Be well.

YES!! This past week I have had a LOT of stress and I noticed my band was pretty tight. Just a couple of weeks ago I could almost eat like a horse and was going to ask the doctor for a fill. Glad I read your post. I was beginning to think something was wrong with me!
