Let's start a prayer chain for each other!

Ok, here is my thought...we can all use prayer from time to time, plus, praying for others helps us take focus off of ourselves some times. So, I'll start by sharing something that I could use some prayer support on. The next person who posts will pray for me and then post their own prayer request. The 3rd person who posts will pray for the 2nd person who posts. And so on... I will commit to praying for everyone who posts.

Here is my request...I'm feeling a little down today. I don't really know why, but I'm just blah. I am excited though because I go for my 2nd fill Tuesday, and I could really use it. Please pray that I will perk up and stay focused on the things I need to do to continue making my journey successful. I appreciate your prayers!

"Dear Lord, I ask that you bless auntlucy right now. Give her the encouragement and strength she needs for today and days to come. You know the challenges she faces. Give her the strength to come to you, to rely on you and to continue in faith. In your name, Amen."

I had my 1st fill 8wks post-op and was hoping it would curve my appetite to 4oz each meal. It hasn't. So I ask uplifting in prayer for me to have strength until my next fill, 5wks from now.

neverB4, thank you for your sweet prayer...I really appreciate it. I'm doing better. I had my 2nd fill Tuesday and had some problems with it Wed, but it seems to be getting better.

Now, here is my prayer for you: Dear most gracious Heavenly Father, thank you for giving neverB4 the courage to get the band. As she continues down this journey, I pray that you will give her the will power and the endurance she needs to succeed. She is your child, Lord, and she just wants to have a healthier body to honor you. Wrap your arms around her, allowing her to feel your presence...especially during those times that she may be tempted to eat out of emotional hunger or boredom.

This is a wonderful thread......

Please join me in prayer for a renewed dedication to my new, healthier lifestyle. Lately I've just been somewhat depressed and haven't felt as dedicated. The 18th will be my 6 month bandiversary, and I really wanted to be further along than a 50lb. loss!!! Granted, I've never lost this much weight in 6 months before, and remain eternally grateful; yet somewhat saddened as though I've let myself down. I hope this makes sense.

God bless.

bamboobabe, 50 pounds in 6 months is great! You should be very proud of that accomplishment, but I completely understand your feelings.

Dear Lord, thank you giving bamboobabe the courage and strength over the past 6 months. Please give her a renewed commitment to her band. Remind her of the gift that you have given her in the band. Help her to jumpstart her continued weight loss so that she feels empowered and motivated as she enters her 7th month.
