ribcage pain

Does anyone ever get pain in their ribcage, under the their boob? I get it occasionally, but normally it just lasts for a little while, a few twinges, and it's gone. today it's been hurting more and more all day. what was just a little annoying this morning hurts pretty bad now. It's like a mostly sharp pain that feels like it's just in the muscle over my ribcage. It was hurting on both sides, not it just hurts on the right. does anyone know what i'm talking about?

Yes, I know what you're talking about b/c I have it right now. It doesn't happen everyday, but it does hurt when it does happen! Honestly, I wonder if it's b/c I ate too much. Not sure, though, what it is. I'd be interested to hear from someone who knows WHY this happens, and what it really is.

I have the exact same pain. Did you ever find out what this is? If so, please let me know. Thanks! ;)

I too have this. I've asked my doctor about it twice now. He examines me, and can't find a thing wrong. My band hasn't slipped. I have one of the bigger bands, and I'm wondering if I just have a narrow or small rib cage, and occasionally it's not literally bumping into my ribs. I've noticed if I slouch when I sit, it becomes more uncomfortable. Some days are worse than others. My port gets sore if I work my abs to aggressively as well. I guess this is just something we have to learn to live with?????
