Took the First Step!!

I attended my first information seminar and I am so excited!! I was tempted by the RNY surgery!! The immediate gratification monster reared its head briefly but reason came back to me. I have the info pkg with all the lab stuff I need to have completed before my appt in July. I was so disappointed that I had to wait that long. I was willing to take a week off to get it all done but alas, my dr will be away in June so July was the earliest. Oh well. I'm hoping that by August I will have a surgery date. I have Horizon BC/BS in New Jersey which the surgeon who conducted the info seminar stated is the best insurance to work with and almost always approves the surgery.

So wish me luck!!
