Trying to get back on track

This has been a very rough few months for me. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was originally scheduled for surgery on May 21. I had gone on a pre-op diet that included 2 protein shakes a day and then a light meal at night. I was doing great, until one of my wisdom teeth became abscessed. Of course it had to happen 1 week before my surgery. At that point, they had to cancel the surgery until I had the tooth pulled. Luckily that all happened within a week, but by then I felt like I was in limbo so to speak. It took more than a week after I had the tooth pulled before I got a new date, and that put me out to July 9. It has been very difficult to get back on track. So now that I'm just about two weeks out, I need to get that focus back again. I'm not really worried about the surgery at this point, but I am worried that something may happen again to postpone it. Is that crazy? It's so frustrating. I'm hoping by posting this, it will help to get the focus back. Thanks for listening
